In celebration of, and with great tribute to, the long-awaited release of MSTRKRFT’s fantastic debut album “The Looks”, I’m proud to present the latest dj twopointzero The Cheat mix set for 2006. I’m happier with this set than any other this year, with it flowing from my fingers smoothly enough on the first take that I was literally jumping up and down in front of the gear. :) 15 smashing tracks, with four from the new MSTRKRFT release plus one MSTRKRFT remix, this set passes on the new wave sound that usually opens each The Cheat mix and instead immediately rips into banging electro that never stops. There is but one track I had to throw a little harder than I originally wanted, but that’s what ya get for recording live and hopefully you won’t even notice. ;)
