This week in the Mothership-Funkin’ House we’ve got us some tracks that are all funked up and filtered out for your late-set dancing pleasure. Deemah starts off the list with some funky sample-rich house just one step away from feeling a bit of the French Touch. Next up, Def E and Seamus Haji set the time machine for 20 or so years ago and then start tweaking the filters. Ericke the Blows Your House Down with some more of this week’s funky filter house goodness. Natural Rhythm jump in the middle to glitch things up a bit with the stutter-sampled “It Would Be”. Simmons & Christopher add to the filtered madness with the soulful Just The Way. Rounding out the list, Special Forces gets the nod with not one but two tracks. First up, a sparse, funky remix of the Family Business single. Finally, Special Forces hits us the vocal-sample-heavy Hot Funk.
