Having been tied up over much of the weekend, I’m only now getting a chance to post this week’s Fresh Tracks. As you’ll see, however, you haven’t missed much. This week has been a very weak one for new tracks in all three of my formats, with the best tracks of the week barely standing up to the middle of the road tracks of recent weeks. For the statistically inclined, 43 tracks made the initial shortlist across all three formats. This was then culled down to 22 tracks. As percentages of the 1079 tracks auditioned this week, both of these are markedly low compared to the average week.
