A quiet week for the electro sound in the middle, The Cheat’s selected Fresh Tracks come primarily from the two opposite ends of The Cheat’s sound spectrum. Over on the left, the week has seen some great detached retro electro sounds hitting the scene, including tracks from Adult, Alden Tyrell, Francisco, DuMonde, and Colder. Over on the right, a good number of slightly more mainstream but still very much enjoyable (and of course danceable) dance-rock tracks from the likes of the Infadels, Karotte, The Arctic Monkeys, and a great peak time cover by the Sons and Daughters. In between, King Roc is holding up the fort with a solid electro-anchored track.
